Has anyone upgraded the speakers on the premium system? Curious to see what someone else might have done.

I know we have some crappy sizes to deal with that really limit what I would like to do without some custom work. I'm thinking about some Focal ES100 for both the front and sound bar with having some pods made for the dash. For the sub I'll use a JL TW3 as I love it in my other car

I will probably power all the speakers with a Mosconi Pro 5/30.

Alot of threads on this here but some aren't specifically for the premium alpine system. I just replaced my front dash speakers with these (https://www.crutchfield.com/p_113X3C/Kenwood-Excelon-KFC-X3C.html). I did not use the capacitor, just directly plugged in using the metra harness. I had bought some kickers too but they needed the capacitor and i wasn't a fan. I'm debating doing the Kenwoods for the sound bar also or using the kicker dart speakers which are direct plug and play (and in retro i probably would've just gotten 4 of these) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008I2UYPI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is kind of ironic that you revived this old question. You should search Jerseyed1975 to see exactly what he ended up doing in his Jeep after he posted this question. Let's just say it's a little more than some inexpensive Kicker replacement speakers and mismatched Kenwoods or capacitors. He may have the best if not most expensive install I've seen in a Wrangler.
