So frustrated...can't find anyone who can refill my PowerTank co2 tank in Northern NJ. I tried a paintball store (out of gas), Dick's Sporting goods (don't do it anymore), welding supply store (they only exchange tanks). Anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks!

I use a local fire extinguisher shop. They use CO2 to service the fire extinguishers. Costs me $12 to refill a 10lb tank.

Why straight?
Great question! I have a 2019 JLUR and received both hoses. I actually ordered the coiled hose and, due to COVID-19, Powertank ran into a supply problem with their coiled hoses. Rather than delaying shipments, Powertank shipped orders with their straight hoses (and a nice note) and later sent everyone the coiled hoses they ordered when the supply chain opened up again.

For trail use, I love the straight hose because it allows me to reach all 4 tires without actually removing the 15 lb tank from the rear of the vehicle. The coiled hose is nicer if you need to carry the tank around.

Hmm. I only have experience with the coiled. But I’ve also the 2-door. I air up the fronts first and then the rears. Does the straight even coil up after airing and getting cold?

This is why I opted for a generic 20 LB tank when I set my system up 20 years ago. Tank was free. I just drop it and pick up a full one. No worry about re-certification or damage. No muss, no fuss. Oh, and it was free.

how're you liking the powershot? Looking into getting one for the portability but not sure how it would work for my situation. Doesn’t seem to be much input on it anywhere. I sometimes air down my tires to 15psi. How many tire Fills you getting out of one tank ?
