I have been in the optional equipment phase for 15 days now and I’m a little irritated about it. Areti told me last week that I had progressed to the final inspection/storage before shipment phase but now I seem to have regressed right before crossing the finish line.

I’ve been in optional equipment since 8/27, ordered 8/19.

3+ weeks of "I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process". Ordered 7/12.

After 9 days in status, "build complete, shipped to storage. Either to wait for room on a rail car or receiving additional inspections" I've now regressed to, "build complete pending installation of additional equipment."
How does this happen???

They found the 1.5” lift they forgot to put on the white Jeep? (Don’t kill me ?)

Maybe they found something wrong during additional inspection? Either way, it sucks. I’m sorry man

I was thinking the same thing about the lift... At this point im taking what these JC reps say with a grain of salt.... Ive had some false info from Mathew before.... Maybe/Hoping this is the same. Ill check back tomorrow to confirm.

Yep, they seem to be all over the board with their responses. Matthew seems to be a steady source of misinformation, hopefully it’s just a fluke. As far as the whole “suspensiongate” debacle, it makes it real easy to justify spending money on a flexy new lift kit ?

I plan on going bigger down the road. Other than having the XR package forced on me. I’m still glad I have one coming. All the other upgrades other than tires and lift make it worth it for me. I’ll probably run the 35’s down and then go 37 with a lift. Unless I get the itch sooner lol

My Jeep got put in the rail car and shipped last Tuesday, so since it’s been a week I checked JC to see if I have a eta (my salesmen went on vacation). JC gave an estimated delivery date between 9/14 and 9/23! Which is insane! I’m only 700 miles from the factory and 9/14 would be two weeks after it got put on the rail car, and 9/23 would be over 3 weeks. Like wtf! I sold my JK last week so I’m currently without a vehicle and this is sucks! Anyone get there vehicle before the JC eta?

I’ve been without a vehicle for 5.5 months. Using the wife’s Jeep, one of the company cars if they’re free, my mountain bike and electric skateboard have gotten me by. You’ll be fine

That sounds really odd to me especially seeing that the parts for the XR aren’t exactly what we were anticipating. Wonder what’s holding it up?

I know... I’m wondering the same. Hopefully we will all get answers soon. I’m also wondering how we have only seen one XR Jeep in the wild. Wouldn’t they have delivered multiple in the same time frame? I guess it’s possible nobody posted about theirs but with all the hype and controversy it seems hard to believe...

Right! I know some of you XR people have your jeeps by now, and I know I want to look at them!

I could care less than I am only at 7 weeks jeep chat guy, I have been in optional equipment for nearly 2 of those 6 weeks lol
