Hey Everyone,

I didn't see the info posted here yet, but I just wanted to do a general blast and let everyone know that Extreme Recon has been removed from all Wranglers. Rubicons, Willys, 392. Nothing on my ordering side shows it's available, so I hope everyone who wanted it put their order in already. I hope it comes back, and will let everyone know, but at least for the time being it's not available.

That's unfortunate. I missed the boat.

Will have to wait until it returns (it always has returned, so far), and then slip in a couple orders.

I'm hoping it's that as well, so we'll see how long it'll be before they bring it back.

It could be as silly as some parts issues like the fender flare extensions being on severe backorder.. you never know what caused it in these times

It will come back with the 4.88 and 37" tire combo.
That would be really crapy to do to the people who ordered 2023s in the beginning of the model year. If they do that i hope it's for 2024 or later.

It's not going to happen. They aren't updating/refreshing the XR package. It'll just come back in its original form because they don't want to take backorders on things they do not have estimated dates for.

Looking on Jeep.com, there are so many claims about "best in class" that are enabled by the XR package I gotta believe this is temporary?
I would imagine they would be reluctant to permanently discontinue XR package and pull all those claims back

I’ll be extremely pissed considering I ordered in August, just found out it was built 10/10/22 and estimated delivery isn’t until 11/20/22.
