Just curious as to how long the batteries have lasted out there. I'm talking main battery, the tiny worthless one doesn't count. If you could, let us know manufacturer, original, or replacement.

My original battery lasted a week past 4 years.
My Walmart EverStartmaxx AGM H7 lasted a couple of months shy of 4 years. It was showing subtle signs of degradation. It probably would have lasted another year, but the warranty would have expired. I took it in today and they said it looked good, with one cell bad. So, free exchange.

Too many variables to draw strong conclusions, Frequency and duration of driving, climate, additional charging, luck of the draw. How important is squeezing every dollar’s worth out of your battery is vs just replacing it and moving on. I’m a preemptive battery changer and have other things I’d rather waste my time on than load testing and handwringing about a battery if I know I’ve treated it reasonably well, Anyway that’s not what you asked, OEM battery swapped for an Odyssey around 3 years.

Plus you know the battery braggers just like the mpg braggers maybe with some white lies are on their way as well.

Retired and loving it!
The battery in my '23 2-door is original. I have it load tested every 6-months when it goes into my local shop for an oil change and a once-over. I would need to consult my records but I replaced the battery in my '03 TJ (2003-2023) maybe 4-times.

I'm with @Terrymo on this. Too many variables. 3-4 years I think would be average.

Now, I must brag on my battery life and MPG to compensate for a small hamanaptra...

The battery in my 1984 Yugo is still charging! I use it to jump start a 737. It gets one revolution around the Earth on a single tank of gas! But, I've fueled my 392 twice since I started typing this.

Mine was still fine at 3, but I chose to do a preemptive replace then. Odyssey H7. I have an eTorque so no aux.

Indicated four years in the poll. OE battery on 3.0L, driven 1-3 times a week and kept on trickle charger when not driven at least every three days. No definitive indication I needed to change battery except for increasing frequency of water-in-filter warning. After replacing the battery, no further water warnings.

Wrangler battery ~ 3 years, the 15 GC’s second Mopar one just got warranty replaced at about 2 1/2 years…. uhh the original lasted over 8 years, which is why the first Mopar replacement, it won’t happen again unless another warranty replacement.
The EverStart in my 4R lasted over 10 years. I put one in the Wrangler, time will tell if they cheapened theirs too.

I got just over two years. I’ll the original OEM battery. I’ve replaced with an optimum yellow top and so far it’s been flawless. It’s also only been another two years though.

I was at the 5 year mark this past February. I just decided to be preemptive and replace it for peace of mind.

I’m still on my original batteries. That’s right, plural. Though I’m probably replacing the main when I rip the secondary out this summer. So I guess 6-7, but it’s still good.

My 2018 still has the original battery. The stop/start stopped working a few years ago, but the main has been fine. This is likely due to the low mileage only 37,000 miles.

Age and lack of proper charging effects batteries and can shorten their lives. Heat and cold does also. I replaced both the main and the AUX Battery last spring along with the battery sensor. I went with my Main with an Interstate AGM and an Autozone AGM battery for the Aux. I really thought I would need a Jump a few weeks ago when I brought the Jeep out of storage, but she fired up with no issues and in the first day of driving the batteries were topped off and the PITA Start/Stop would work if I chose too allow it to happen. Why a Stick equipt Jeep has this I have no idea!

My main OEM battery might have made it to 3 months. The replacement, maybe another three and the dealer swapped both at that time. 6 months later after chasing a jumpstart, I replaced the main again and deleted (totally removed and tossed) the auxiliary battery. My current battery is headed on 5 years.
