With a Rubicon, for 35s you don't need a lift.

Why do teraflex though when you can build basically a spring lift from metalcloak for example even cheaper?

Side note: A Rubicon can run full size 35's with minimal rubbing with no suspension alterations. I ran 35 inch Kenda Klever KR629 MT2's on my jlur for more than a year and wheeled it extensively, primarily rock crawling.

With the right wheels they won't rub at all without a lift. I have been running 35s on my '21 JLUR ever since I bought it in Feb '23. Started out with 35x12.50 on factory Gladiator wheels. Those rubbed a bit, then I added wheel spacers. It helped a little. That summer I upgraded to aftermarket 17" wheels. I can't remember the backspacing or offset, but they don't rub at all with no lift, except when I stuff the tires on the trails.
My Jeep is in the shop this week getting 4.56 gears installed after a rear bearing tore up the ring and pinion, so I'm finally having them install the Mopar 2" lift I've had sitting in the basement for 3 years.

I’d suggest at a minimum you get a kit with adjustable front upper control arms, front and rear track bars, longer sway bar end links, springs and shocks.
Metalcloak is good for flex
AEV is good for street manners
Rough Country is cheap junk
Mopar is good for warranty
There are many other good options

I just did Clayton 2.5 overland kit. Just completed rubicon trail. Worked great.

Metalcloak makes quality parts but the gold zinc finish...hard pass. Besides, the no shock Metalcloak "Base Camp" still cost more than the Teraflex ST2.

Teraflex ST2 is what I have on my 4 door Rubi and AEV 2.5 on my wife’s Sport. Both are great options, I like my Teraflex more than the AEV the on road manners are better, it’s firmer though. That could be that I have Falcon SP2 piggy back shocks and she has Bilsteins though.

A lot of good suggestions here…… this is a great bang for your buck kit from a top tier company….. it includes everything you need to do it right and you can add to it if you want to over time……..I’m not sure about the logistics though…….
