So i bought this transfer case off a member here, who said he ran it in his V6 8AT Willys.
i took it to a local shop and they said that it wont bolt in and that its not right the part #
the sticker is missing but i found where the part number is engraved. Its kind of hard to read but it looks like 68248441AC unless that second 8 is actually a zero, which would actually be correct, since the part number with an 8 is not for a transfer case.
Looking at pics of other rubicon transfer cases it looks the same.
looking at an ad on ebay from an oem parts dealer it seems to be the same. It says the AC version replaces the AA, AB, AD versions.
Is this the correct part? And this well known shop is flat out wrong??
