Where did you buy these. These are my next tire but the price tag has caused some hesitation.

Thanks for the tips - will test the white lettering on a tire with a paint pen before mounting and then I'll decide. Not too worried about having to reapply often though, more about it looking good at all...

Fyi, I usually have to give two coats.

Not sure if you have Discount tires there but when I bought mine they gave the best price. I called and asked if they could do better than the advertised price and they said sure they would discount the mount and balance to $10 a tire which helped..I don't have sales tax so I guess if you were on a road trip to Montana you could get them cheaper here as well.

These just showed up yesterday (completely unexpected, since I ordered them Monday and haven’t gotten even an email confirmation!). Anyone ever found a good way to paint the lettering white? That’s one thing I’ll miss!

now I have to hope the weather stays warm enough for me to finish my experiment painting wheels, get them mounted and sell the old set of 285/70r17s!

34X10R17, I went with the 34X10.50R17

No pic anymore but I ran these 35x10.5R17 Kenda Klever RT’s at Merus Adventure Park.
They do great on the highway too. Compared to the 295/70/18 Baja Boss Load E, they kept up great. Especially for about 1k less.

The BB’s do just a bit better in standing water I noticed when I tired to push the limits to see when they hydroplane. Oh and these are Load D. I don’t need to air down as much as the E Load BB’s to get good sidewall flex.

Liked them enough they are on the Rubicon I have now.
