Well found this on another forum from the original poster:

https://www.wranglerforum.com/threa...formance Limited Service Fuel System" message.

*** UPDATE 8/7/22 -
I have a family member who is a tech at a dealership. I ran this by him and he did some digging. Here’s his reply:

“So I got a little bit of knowledge for you about your issue. Our go to tech says that that message usually comes on if it's a hybrid system, he's thinking your computer was programmed for a 4xe and was put into yours, it basically tells you to run your gas engine to cycle fuel so it doesn't go stale, he says to have them try and reconfigure the vehicle through mopar diagnostic program (witech)”

No 100% guarantee on this as they haven’t dealt with it at their dealer yet. It does make some sense to me though as we’re only seeing this message on the 2.0L and they use the 2.0 in the 4xe. I’ll be at the stealership again this week to have them “fix” everything they broke so far.

I'd run across that while researching it and, IMO, this tech wanted to sound like they knew what they are doing to a family member. IMO, definitely an issue with how the software monitors the fuel delivery system and compares fuel delivery state against other engine parameters.

Seeing this message on my '22 2.0T (~1400 miles) and also confused about it. Doesn't stay in the stored system messages and doesn't appear to actually affect the Jeep's performance. I figured I would just mention it when I take it in for its next service unless someone can come to a conclusion that it requires more urgent attention.

That recall is for the 3.0 diesel. It does not affect the 2.0T gas engine. This is why your VIN is not listed for this recall.

Thanks. Weird that I got the email but I guess it was just sent to all JL owners and not just diesel ones.

Lol, under components they list it as gasoline but then go on to talk about the 3.0. I want the job of whoever is in charge of error codes and recalls at Chrysler. You apparently don't have to be good at it.

I'm in a similiar situation with a different part. So far. New tcase motor, new tcase and new DTCM. Thought they had it fixed but I did a U-turn over a 2" curb in 2WD and Svc4WD flashed up.....again. Sigh.

have them check the speed sensors at the wheels. On most posts about it I’ve seen people say it was the right rear. Mine was also. ??‍♂ My service advisor said that’s because the right rear is the tire that usually hits the bad pothole lol. Which makes sense I guess. But it was replaced and I’ve had zero issues since.

Every code it's ever thrown has been tcase related. They won't just check something if they have no reason to. I mean, I have a great relationship with them so I can ask but I don't have high hopes.

Yea I have a great relationship with my service writer and the manager. I mentioned the possibilities of what was causing the service 4wd light to come on from wheel speed sensor to the locker sensor. Then plugged I. And it was showing right rear. Cleared the code and I avoided pot holes and off-roading for a couple weeks while we waited on the speed sensor to show up. 15min install and I was gone. No issues since.
Good luck.

Another bites the dust …… Add me to the list I suppose. Yesterday about 3 miles after putting gas (87 Shell Gas since day 1) at 2774 mi, while making a right turn and decelerating the message popped up for about 10 sec then it went away. “Performance Limited Service Fuel System” I do have a Sahara 2.0L Automatic and this is the first time I see this happen. My Jeep is lifted with 35s what is weird to me is that I had a 2020 Sahara 2.0L Automatic with the same lift and 35s and I was getting about 19-20 mpg and in the 2022 I am only getting 16-17 mpg. Either way I’m taking in next week to the dealer and see what they say.
