Passive entry only works on tailgate...

Hi. 2018 JLU, the passive entry is only working on the tailgate, not on the doors. I've checked for bent pins on the door harnesses, and broken wires. I did find that on the driver's door harness, the connector inside the door panel was not fully plugged in. Plugging that in all the way solved the problems with the power mirrors and blind spot monitor. It IS turned on in the Uconnect menu.
Any ideas where to look next??

My sensor went bad twice in passenger handle. Have the dealer check it out if possible.

How about the "cap"....the one on the driver's door is loose, and can be pulled off easily. I guess there is a magnet in it?

@frankjc did you do the passive entry install yourself or was it a factory option that came with your JL?

I ask because it seems that under the original instructions to add this after purchase, that specific proximity entry point locations all needed to be enabled:

So...i got home from work, decided to pull the door handles off. The driver's door handle was not even plugged in. I have that side working now. Passenger side was plugged in, i unplugged it and plugged it back in, still doesn't work. Im just glad the driver's side works. There is paint overspray on both doors. The dealer must have painted the doors and forgot to plug things in. Im just glad the drivers door works now. Jeeps keep me busy. We also have a liberty which is my daily driver. I need to replace the radiator in that.

Also, it seems to be missing whatever covers the screw holes for the handles.
