I turned off Passive Entry (proximity locks) in Control/Settings and now I've turned it back on but my key fob is not unlocking the doors like it did in January before I turned it off.
How can I get Passive Entry turned back on effectively. What I did was a "restart" in Control/Settings that put all settings back to stock, and Passive Entry shows up as checked
in the menu again. But my fob doesn't unlock the doors when close, and the chicklet lot button doesn't seem to lock them either, so maybe it's not turned back on yet, despite that checked box.
the other change I made was using the Threedom Model M for a fob. It operates exactly normal in every other way and the RFID is in there and seems to be working.
I turned them off in the first week back in Jan because I hadn't had this feature before (22 years in a TJ) and it was confusing to tell when the door was locked or not. I'd lock if from the fob button and then check to see if it was locked but when I grabbed the handle to check the passive entry would unlock it, hahaha.
Now I see the advantage of never having to press a fob key, using passive entry to unlock and pressing the chicklet to lock it.
