Thanks for the update! I'm having the same problem and dread going into the dealer to "replicate" it. Any advice on contacting Jeep Cares?
So i contacted Jeep and they have been very good about calling me weekly to get it scheduled. Work has been so crazy the last few weeks that I haven’t had time to bring it in. I finally made another appointment with the dealer and with Jeep on the line during the call. It will go back this coming Friday to be looked at again to identify the issue. We have concluded that it’s the back of the seat... when someone is sitting in it and sitting back in the seat and the weight distribution changes-like going around a corner or speed bump, we have the noise. When someone is sitting in the seat and leaning forward, no noise. It’s like the mechanism in the back of the seat is the issue...I say replace the seat, and that’s what we asked for, but it’s not my call. Hopefully they will fix it this time. My guess it’s a manufacturer defect from whoever made the seats. I’ll keep you posted...

Have same issue with someone that weighs more than 150 lbs or so. Annoying! What’s the fix?

You are just completely awesome! Thank you SO much. My issue is exactly as you described. I've already reached out to Jeep Cares through the forum--so we'll see if I can get the ball rolling on my end. But, like you, it's a matter of scheduling! My schedule is packed right now, and I have to have my vehicle. Regardless, thanks again!

Hi FTheBS,
We can imagine why this may be frustrating. We suggest scheduling an appointment with your dealer to have this inspected. You may also send us a private message and we will gladly have a case escalated in your behalf.

Had my Jeep at the dealer for servicing and they "could not duplicate" the seat noise. Shocker. Though they did resolve my wandering GPS problem so their batting .50. Will need to bring back and demonstrate (though I'll feel like a total idiot sitting in the passenger seat and wiggling around... not a pretty sight for a guy like me... )

Thank you for the note. I will for sure have them check out at first oil change.

I had the passenger seat creaking with someone in it and while turning. I took it to the dealer had my service advisor sit and rock in it sideways and bingo it showed itself. A new seat frame base was ordered and my wrangler was repaired a week later. Since I have added leather to my seats and very happy with them. Just went over 5K miles and that was my only issue since purchasing new.

Ok so my Jeep went in today...They will be replacing the seat back frame. It’s on back order right now...1st words out of my mouth were “I guess I’m not the only one”... they were cool...I brought them cookies and Whoopi pies and told them to please just fix the darn thing...so now we wait for the part.

Just wondered if anyone had the same seat issue on leather seats?

When a customer goes to a dealer and then is forced to use his/her time to go directly to Jeep to force a dealer to fix something under warranty, that is the definition of poor customer service IMO. Seems to happen a LOT with Jeep/Jeep dealers. am starting to believe that the survey results ranking Jeep dealers tied in last place has a lot of merit to it.
They get reimbursed for warranty work IF it is in FCA guidelines. In order to keep customers with problems that aren't covered or for dealers to do incorrect fixes they follow this procedure. Jeep Cares is part of FCA and has some authority to have work done. Dealers want warranty money because that covers most of their service work.

You'll get great advice here but if you end up going into the dealer for an inspection, let us know if you need assistance with that process. We're available via direct message and would be happy to escalate for further handling.

I just took my 2019 to the dealer for this, naturally they said they couldn't hear it even though the looseness and clunking sound in the seat back can be heard and felt even while parked. at least they were thoughtful enough to leave hand grease marks all over the leather seat. I think I'll just schedule daily appointments until they actually fix it.
