Finally have a nice day in PA and I washed and started to wax my nearly 1 year old JLUR and as I started to wax the hood i found this little issue. Looks like rust bubbles in the paint on the hood right above the right headlight! I know that wasnt there before winter. Doesnt appear to have any chips or damage. It's just the paint straight up bubbling. Anyone else see this happen yet?

Hi Lummy33,
We understand why this may be concerning. We suggest having your dealer inspect this concern. We are also available via private message if you would like any additional assistance during that process.

I had this happen with the Aluminum hood on my old Mustang. It was a common problem with the 06-09 Mustangs. I believe the story goes that iron filings weren't cleaned cleaned off the hoods before they were painted and then they rusted under the paint. I got a big F.U. from Ford when I tried to get them to fix it under warranty. Hopefully Jeep is better about it.
