Add me to the list too. My passenger side visor broke. The Jeep is just about a year old with 10k miles on it, but I think this was the first time the passenger visor was ever unlatched. I’ll add it to the list of repairs when I go in for my next oil change.
Happened to me twice when there was something there but no danger of hitting anything and twice when there was nothing there. Definitely a shock when it kicks in.
The first time, auto park engaged too, so I got stuck in the road until I figured out what was going on.
The last time I was at a...
I got the unlimited for the extra room hauling stuff and for my dog. He likes to run in circles back there anytime we go anywhere.
My plan was to put the seats down and leave them down forever. No such luck! Ever since I got it everbody wants to ride it in. “Did you bring the Jeep?”, “Let’s...
Too late now I guess but why did you ditch the Borah’s if you kept the jeep? You could have just changed the tires. KO2’s would have been in spec for those wheels and you could have kept the look you wanted :whatsgoingon:
Did you take pics of the trucks? We (the internet) can probably give fairly decent guesses at values based on pics. Might help you rest easier.
If the first thing the dude said was that he couldn’t afford to fix it, he probably didn’t step out of a $70k raptor. More likely a more basic model...
I had a new A4 once that was parked at a commuter rail station. People are always in a mad hurry to make the train, and the lot was always full, so door dings were common. One day though I came back to the car and the passenger door was caved in. It was a windy day, so I think somebodies door...
I had a Grand Cherokee with auto high beams and the system was useless. It would dim the lights when it didn't need to, or not dim the lights when it was supposed to. It was really terrible at dimming the lights when I came up behind another car travelling in the same direction. I had a loaner...
Clark County NV. Excise tax is expensive here, even more expensive than Taxachussetts, where I moved from. Total fees on the ~$52k sales price of my Jeep was just north or $1k (2019 Jeep registered in 2018). According to their online calculator, it should cost ~$950 this year. Sales tax is high...
Mine wandered a little bit when I first got it, but it was never bad. Reducing the tire pressure helped a lot. After 6k miles it drives great now. I mean it drives like crap compared to my Audi, but for a Jeep it’s completely acceptable. On the flip side, I had a rental Ford transit van last...
I live in the desert. The only way the inside of my Jeep is getting wet is if I spill something in it. Give me ventilated seats and I’ll take my chances with the rain!
The Fob and even the old fashioned key part of it basically are not magnetic. The metal inlay that says "Jeep" on the key is the most magnetic part of it. If you have a key chain on it though, that would be. Hangar for the win!
I called the Mopar warranty dept and asked about it.
The story I got was that if you tried to buy an extended warranty after your Jeep was lifted, they wouldn't sell it to you before. This option means that now they will. There is a $495 surcharge on top of the existing warranty prices.
If...
My local dealership thinks the same way you do. My Jeep had its first service a couple of weeks ago and the paperwork said 6 quarts. So I called them on it and they said that the computer always says 6 quarts for every vehicle that gets an oil change regardless of how much oil they actually put...
Ok, I'm bored, so out of curiosity, I ran the numbers.
I'm going to use my Jeep as the example because it cost about the same as the one you were quoted $599/month for and I already know all the numbers for it.
The MSRP on mine was $58,890.
The invoice price was $55,195.
The 1% below...
That salesman should be fired for pulling that stunt. Any dealer can do employee pricing without putting in their own code. The dealer I bought mine from said they were doing that to give me employee pricing too. The deal was better than employee pricing in the end, but the sales manager said he...
I think you're making the mistake of believing what this guy is telling you. You need to treat all dealers as the enemy so that you don't get screwed. This guys sounds like the enemy.
There are 4 white JLURs with Sky One Touch tops within 75 miles of 48002 according to the Jeep inventory...
I had the same problem with a salesman after ordering my Jeep. He dropped off the map, never returned my calls or texts etc.. I had no idea if it had really been ordered, I didn't get a VON or VIN from him etc..
Every time I called I was told I had to talk to this one tool to get an update...
