I have a similar issue on my 2019 and I bought the Jeep in Portland Oregon. Moved to Troy Michigan and saw the bubbling. The dealer in town took pictures and said he would call me. Never happened and I called and left messages with no response. I moved to Dayton, Ohio in September and another dealer is doing the same thing. Took pictures and said he would call me and I have called back and no response. The other dealer in town said he can't help since he does not have a body shop. WTF!

I even have leather seat stitching coming lose and can't get help. I am heading back Monday to talk with them again and see why they don't respond and to see about getting my steering box replaced since the 2 alignments didn't help it.

And of course I did all of this before my 36,000 mile warranty was up and now I am at 42,000!

Dealers that won't cooperate due to not having a body shop on site are full of BS. I guarantee that they have a local body shop that they contract warranty work to.

That's what I thought. This other dealer doesn't even have a working alignment machine. He said broken for 6 months now!

Ugh I just went through this process on our Black 2020 Sahara. Took three dealers before I finally found one that helped. The others would take the pictures then never call me back and brushed me off when I'd call for an update. Finally I called FCA and they opened a case and they had a list of recommended dealers in my area (I forget the term but something along the line of Gold dealerships or something). The dealer subs body work out to a local shop and they had the Jeep for a month. Luckily the dealer gave me a loaner for that time period (brand new Grand Cherokee L, the wife LOVED it). Corporate was very helpful and wanted me to stay in touch, just when you call plead your case calmly.

They all should have someone they contract with. But my first choice would be dealer body shop and not because they may do better. Only for convenience and cutting out some distant 3rd part and potential scheduling issues.

That would be my preference as well. Dealer in-house body shops here in SoCal are becoming increasingly rare these days. Rumor has it that it just isn't worth the expense with all of the BS red tape that CA requires to operate one.

I need help in getting in contact with #JeepCares.

I have a 2018 Jeep JL wrangler and the paint is bubbling on almost all the hinges and other areas . It looks like a rash that is spreading.
I’ve attempted to reach out now 3 dealerships and I’m getting the run a round with no help .
Can someone advise me on who to contact?
Thanks

Best of luck to you. I’ve got the bubbling too and am now getting ignored by Jeep as they refuse to cover it (even though it’s clearly a factory defect).

Unless jeep does things differently, I've never heard of a manufacturer fixing body rust under warranty.

Good luck, though. Might be best off finding another door. Rust repair is never really permanent, anyway.

This isn’t rust. It’s corrosion of the aluminum happening under the paint due to improper paint prep at the factory. Jeep has somewhat acknowledged that it’s a problem and has fixed thousands of vehicles (hundreds here on the forum alone), but for some reason they pick and choose some to fix and some not to fix. I’m falling into the category of not getting mine fixed and haven’t been given a real explanation by Jeep as to why
