I’m not looking for opinions. I’m looking for information, like if anyone has heard more about what changes will be made for 2025, like upgrades to the 4xe system, and what colors will be available since the one I planned to order, sarge green, is no longer available.
The fact that you started calling me names, leads to recommend the 4XE. I think you’ll be a good fit together.

If I order a 2024 Sahara just before ordering is stopped, will the 2025 model information (colors, options, pricing) be available before my 2024 order arrives at the dealer? I am assuming I am under no obligation to buy if I place an order.

The reason I ask is I just had to buy the wife a new (actually a used) vehicle so I have decided to delay buying myself a new wrangler. I want to order one so I get exactly what I want but I would like to see what color options the 2025 model will bring. I am hoping Gobi comes back but if not, I will go with Sarge Green. But I am also worried that Sarge may be discontinued for 2025. If Sarge or Gobi is offered in the 2025 models, I will just order a 2025. But if I don't order a 2024 in Sarge and 2025 has neither Sarge or Gobi (or something very similar like Commando or Gator) then I'll be disappointed. Clear as mud?

Any guidance is appreciated.
I am hoping for Hellayella to come back for 2025.

We should all find out pretty soon when they open the 2025 ordering window. Hope they do offer it for you!

I ordered a Sarge Green Sahara in Nov and just picked it up less than a month ago and I am glad I did because Sarge is no longer an option for ordering and I am pretty sure it's not going to be offered again anytime soon.

Mm. It's no exaggeration to say that Wrangler colors and options come and go with the wind. E.g., the Tuscadaro paint option was available for just a couple of months before being withdrawn. The vinyl flooring option disappeared from the configurator website mere weeks after it first appeared. Whether the related vinyl seating option is available might depend on the day the customer seeks it out.

I take the view that what is available today for a Wrangler build order might literally not be available tomorrow.

I take a similar view with respect to the price of anything I see on the shelf: it probably won't ever cost less than what it costs today, and the likelihood that the price will increase tomorrow is measurably greater than zero. Lord knows Stellantis took that approach to heart.

These days, we literally can't afford to wait. ?

Jeep Wrangler sales are tanking in a big way. 2023 sales were 54% down compared to 2022. Rather than holding out for a new model year, I might instead suggest you hold out for the forthcoming rebate programs that are likely going to be robust. There were a few nice upgrades for 2024 but I suspect changes in 2025 will be minimal. Anecdotally I see a lot of Wranglers sitting in dealer lots. You are in a good place to capture a great deal.

Sadly, I found this out when I put my order in this month. ?

I'd rather not have a mandated kill switch in my vehicle that may or may not be remotely accessible...

I ordered a '24 Ruby X 2.0 W/35" tire package Feb 19th that was scheduled to enter production yesterday, Friday March 22nd...Sadly it has been moved back to 'D' status. This was after I received a communication from Jeep Cares stating Jeep stopped offering (at least temporarily due to 'capacity') the 35" tire package on JL 2-door models...

I would expect the order banks for '25's to open shortly and if there are options I want (3.6 Auto W/35" tire package and winch) and am I still stuck in 'D' status, I will cancel and order a '25...

If for any reason Jeep has decided to no longer offer the 35" tire package for 2-door JL's (which I find really hard to believe after the press release hype in January '24) then I will have to look elsewhere for a factory equipped 2-door 4x4 W/35's...

What does one have to do with the other? Honest question.
Was referencing the year, not the hurricane. Current legislation is set to require all model year 2026 vehicles to have said kill switch.

Mm. The Search results do suggest that the presence, or not, of driver monitoring technology doesn't seem to be completely settled yet.

Still, it is a subject that is now on the radar.
You can read it for yourself and see what you think about it.

https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/3684/text

SEC. 24209. <<NOTE: 49 USC 30111 note.>> REDUCTION OF DRIVER DISTRACTION. said:
(a) <<NOTE: Deadline. Research and development.>> In General.--Not
later than 3 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the
Secretary shall conduct research regarding the installation and use on
motor vehicles of driver monitoring systems to minimize or eliminate--
(1) driver distraction;
(2) driver disengagement;
(3) automation complacency by drivers; and
(4) foreseeable misuse of advanced driver-assist systems.

(b) Report.--Not later than 180 days after the date of completion of
the research under subsection (a), the Secretary shall submit to the
Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and the
Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives a
detailed report describing the findings of the research.
(c) <<NOTE: Determinations.>> Rulemaking.--
(1) In general.--If, based on the research completed under
subsection (a), the Secretary determines that--

[[Page 135 STAT. 824]]

(A) <<NOTE: Deadline.>> 1 or more rulemakings are
necessary to ensure safety, in accordance with the
section 30111 of title 49, United States Code, the
Secretary shall initiate the rulemakings by not later
than 2 years after the date of submission of the report
under subsection (b); and
(B) an additional rulemaking is not necessary, or an
additional rulemaking cannot meet the applicable
requirements and considerations described in subsections
(a) and (b) of section 30111 of title 49, United States
Code, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on
Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and
the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of
Representatives a report describing the reasons for not
prescribing additional Federal motor vehicle safety
standards regarding the research conducted under
subsection (a).
(2) Privacy.--A rule issued pursuant to paragraph (1) shall
incorporate appropriate privacy and data security safeguards, as
determined by the Secretary.
https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2024/01/05/2023-27665/advanced-impaired-driving-prevention-technology#:~:text=This document initiates rulemaking that,Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS)

^ the "1 or more rulemakings report"

And the subsequent rule that was published for public comment in November last year and mandates the final ruling by 11/15/2024

So yeah, "not completely settled" yet; However, if I was a betting man I'd certainly not be wagering that "driver monitoring systems" wont be mandated after 2025.
