I went with the 3.6 / 8 spd auto and love it. Proven track record sold me.
2.0 Fiat motor scared the hell out of me. Too many systems (48V battery, 3 cooling systems, turbo, etc) makes for too many potential reliability problems.
Diesel will more than likely be a $4K option. Torque will be great, but I'm sure the drive train, suspension etc., will limit towing capacity.
