Has anyone had any problems with oracle tail lights leaking either around the edges where the plastic touches the body of the jeep or from the center area where a back up module attaches? Thanks for any feed back.
I have had Oracle flush mounts on my 2018 JL since 3/9/22.
I do not have blind spot monitoring so no issues with that.
Anyway, the Oracle flush mounts, have worked well for me but.... but I have had hardware rusting issues...
I contacted Oracle and they sent me out replacement hardware (under warranty) that supposedly is less prone to rusting.. Excellent product support by Oracle!
All inner hardware on each Oracle flush mount was very badly rusted.. 8-(
Fortunately, I was able to get all the rusted hardware removed. One of the screws did fight me a bit but fortunately, I got it to come loose.
IF you have Oracle flush mounts and they have been installed for a while, do pull them and take a look at the hardware. Best to change out rusting hardware before things get so rusted you cannot get the hardware free.
Pic of 2 of the rusted screws and 2 of the rusted retention clips..
No issues with mine. I purchased my set during the pre-sale in Nov '21, and was the first to receive and install them in very early '22. They've been flawless since Day 1.
A few of the early production lights were affected by improper internal sealing at the factory. IIRC, Oracle got the fix sent to production rather quickly.
The very small gap(s) between the lights and the sheet metal are a known condition.
