2021 Willys/Stinggray baby! Ordered my lights while attending Great Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion. Loved them on the Gladdy and they look even better on my Skillet. What a change from those large blocks from the factory. I cannot wait until Jeep Beach 22 in Daytona to show them off. Great call Oracle!

Known issue/problem, especially in seedy parts of the USA, is thieves stealing stock JL, LED tail lights..

A guy/gal can go up to a JL tail light and since it is hanging out there so much, they can give it a good hard, side hit with their fist and the result is the inner light fixture bracket breaks and the light fixture, then easily pulls away from the JL....

IF, the thief is an aok guy (Funny) he will not cut the connection wire but take the time to disco the freed light with the connector..

Now, the guy/gal sells the light fixture on eBAY or a Jeep forum or to another JL owner down the road.... The thief says they upgraded their tails with an aftermarket offering that came without the plastic bracket (they don't come with them) and used the stock inner plastic bracket... so when you get the lights they are selling, you need/must to use the bracket from your stock lights to do the install...

Anyway, thanks to the very low profile of the Oracle tail lights, doing as mentioned above will undoubtedly not be a easily doable.. As there is little of the low profile tail to slam a fist against...

Wow those look incredible. Maybe by the time my 2022 arrives there will be a fix for the dash lights on the LED equipped models.

So, if you have stock Halogen lights, no hyperflashing, when upgrading to this system?
That's correct. Just be sure to connect the included resistors to the corresponding plugs on each flush LED light, after securing the resistor to the sheet metal. Be advised that double-sided tape (for the resistors) probably won't be included, despite its presence in the related installation video.

@Heimkehr

No, what you said is incorrect..

IF the JL was optioned with LED tails/has stock tails from the factory and you switch to the Oracles, you do not / should not, use the resistors that come with the Oracle offering.

At this point in time the guy/gal with an LED optioned tails, installs the Oracles without the resistors and then if they do not want Can Bus crying, they use JSCAN or A Tazer JL to settle Can Bus down so to speak..

Oracle Lights says they have a hardware fix on the way/ avail. soon but they have been saying this since before Nov. 2021...

Also, the Oracle Lights rep has stated in a recent post that no one will see the double sided tape in the box with the lights..

You could always reinstall with the resistor and use a tazer to flash taillights to halogen and then it'll work just fine.
Yep, Tazer cured my tail light out notification on the screen. No more issues and i didnt have the hyper flashing that everyone is talking about. Went out yesterday and lights function as expected.

I know, right? The OEM light housings, and especially the aftermarket LED clones of the factory lights, now look comically bloated.
I totally understand the function of these if trying to eliminate the risk of damage from having a tail light hanging off the rear of the Jeep. However, I don't think the OEM version looks bloated. Wranglers are chunky vehicles and I think the chunky tail lights fit the design.

This is not to say that I think the flush lights look bad. I actually think they look cool. But on a vehicle that has a chunky design they almost look out of place. If Jeep goes with a less chunky design on the JM, I can see something like these being a better aesthetic fit. Of course this is all opinion and neither of us are wrong.

I have the Oracle Black tail lights and was considering the flush mounts if I could get them in black like my current tails but Oracle said a black version wasn't in the plans. But if I'm being honest I think I just want them because they are different and would help my Wrangler stand out a bit from the crowd..... not because they look 'better'. I attached a pic of my current Oracle Black tails for reference.

Those black tails looks pretty cool as well. I, like you, don’t think the stock design looks bad and I, as you alluded to, got the flush mount to have something different than the crowd.
Any errors after installing those black tails like folks are seeing here with the flush mounts?

Thanks...

I don't recall having any issues with mine and my Jeep came with halogens from the factory. I now have Oracle LED headlights, Oracle fogs, Oracle tails and Morimoto fender turn lights. No issues with the Jeep throwing any codes or errors.

Dammmit......Now I'm going to need to spend some money. I really, really like the looks of those. Once they have a fix in place, I'll be putting an order in
