Not necessarily. If the Oracles are replacing factory LED tails, even those without the BSM function, there's a chance of a hyperflash warning occurring on the dashboard that will require a Tazer to deactivate. The lights themselves may operate correctly.

The Oracles provide error-free, plug-and-play operation only for the owners with factory, non-BSM incandescent tail lights.
Good to know. I had planned to use Tazer Mini or JSCAN to manage that. I don't have either right now but the tail lights would be worth learning one of them.

yes, I have the LED package.

Should have mentioned that.
@STW

The install on you particular JL will require you to have either JSCAN or Tazer JL.

OR.... you can wait for Oracle Lights to come up with a fix that does not require use of a programmer. Good Luck with that though, as Oracle Lights has been saying such a fix is at hand/soon, for well over 5 months now... See forum posts at the JT forum.

Thanks, I think I saw the very simple JSCAN instructions in this thread earlier.

Ordered, now I won’t have to worry about smashing my taillight when my Rotopax is mounted. Finally ordered something that is an actual solution to a legitimate problem I created ?

What rotopax holder is that Jazzicon? Thank you for pointing out the squeeze problem. I've got a NATO can I'm putting in that spot and clearance to the tail light hadn't occurred to me. Now that I see the fit, I may need to rotopax instead and I like that holder you have mounted on the tailgate hinges better than other solutions I've seen. My spare is a 33" so there's an inch more room but that might not be enough for a NATO can.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the lights sticking out so that they're visible at all angles with the large spare tire sticking out in the back?

I like them both but would not purchase unless the bugs are worked out.

well we made it a month and a half and we've got the bottom 1/3 of a taillight out, looks like due to moisture. Anyone else experienced this?

I do really like the look of the flush mounts!!

but ......found an ongoing issue with the Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights!!

No, I do not have BSM so no BSM related issues... No, no hyper flash issues and/or EVIC notices as the JSCAN app addressed that... NO, so far no water intrusion in regard to either light....

Anyway, the issue ....... it's that all the other JL owner's I pass by and then they see the flush mounts..... well, most of those JL owner's, then proceed to somewhat tail gate me for miles and miles obviously, checking out the tail lights...

They are checking out the Oracle's and probably also checking out the pulsing 3rd break light I have, courtesy of an installed Pulse Module that pulses the 3rd brake light when I brake.
