Just installed these 3 months ago. Driver’s side rear shock is definitely oilier than passenger’s. Is this normal or is the seal leaking?
Teraflex Falcon 3.3 quick adjust.

Well that’s pretty disheartening for expensive Teraflex shocks to be leaking after 3 months and no off road yet.
I would take as many pictures of it as you can and reach out to them. Faulty new products happen and they seem like a company that will take care of it.

I know for a fact on the Falcons there is some residue under the dust cap that has nothing to do with the shock oil itself it is just used in assembly. i would clean it and see if it comes back..if it does then Teraflex has awesome customer service.

x2 with this. During assembly often times there is a little bit of oil in the bump cap and rod guide. If it's not thoroughly cleaned out it can seep out the cap giving the impression the shock seal is failing.

However, if you are just noticing this now, 3 months later, that's not a good sign.

Clean it off and check back in a few days to see if it comes back. Hopefully Falcon can help out if it is leaking.

Just for due diligence sake: you didn't by chance get shocks that are too short for your setup?

Yes, that is always how I treat a leaky shock, wipe it down and see if the oily residue returns.
