It's always entertaining and amazing the line of bullshit dealer service lane jockeys come up with.My Rubicon has 25K miles. I noticed that both front shocks appear to be leaking. I took it to Rydell CDJR in San Fernando, CA. They said that the shocks aren't leaking and the "mist" is normal. The service advisor also called it "sweat." My rear shocks were already replaced at 15K miles because they were leaking. Now, the rear shocks are clean and bright red with no seepage at all.
Is the dealership right, and this is normal? Or should these shocks be replaced? I put a finger mark on the shock in the photo below to demonstrate the level of oil on the outside.
