Paint protection film is not very expensive for painted fenders. The rear painted fenders definitely need PPF anyway. Most of the better brands are self-healing for scratches.

They got me too - not as bad, drove it straight back and asked for the service manager and explained just because I scratch it doesn’t mean you can.

thats like when a tire shop does half ass work and scratches or gouges the lip of your rim and says "well there's already one there...." :mad:

Update to those that are watching this thread:

I just picked up my 392 from the dealership, and the result is factory fresh it doesn’t even look like it was scratched or scraped.

Here are the photos:

I hope so too. He was surprised when I showed him the damage. Even my advisor I worked with (since my other one I always use was off) was shocked.

I was fairly certain that it could be buffed out.

What none of you want to see is what some new vehicles look like when they come off the train/transport truck.

A lot more damage than many would think gets fixed before it goes on the lot.
