NO START WTF 4xe 2023

Drove daughter to school. Drove home. hour later no start.

-LIghts Flahing Inside Car
-System Charging Error on Dash

Checked battery it was DEAD-ITS 6 MONTHS OLD!
Charged battery for 1 hour and started.

Drove to dealer.

I mean, dealer replaces battery under warranty and you're on your way?

I charged it at home to get it to start but I drove it to dealer anyway.
Hopefully I get new battery if not what do we all recommend?

From personal experience, be glad it was at home. Ours did last 2 years, but two weeks ago it killed the Jeep 400 miles from home and required a reset to start with the new battery.

No alternator, so the only other thing it can be is the DC-DC charger, you would have had at least some juice in the big battery for it to charge with since you had just driven it.

Thank you for your time let’s see what the dealer says. Here’s the kicker by Stelantis. I put in for a TOW this morning cause it’s new and y is this my problem but NOPE to tow to the dealer 15 miles from my home stelantis wanted 75.00!

what a joke Chrysler my first time with the brand and damn im sour.
60k car under warranty it doesn’t start and you want me to pay for the TOW.
I’ll laugh while Chrysler ends up in the junkyard like all the other American brands from the 90’s. ?

Ha that's a steal! I think all in to finally get my Jeep towed back to LA I paid about $780 in towing fees.

You are posting misinformation.... Many forum member's have had their JL flat towed to the nearest dealership for free...

Suggest you read over your owner's manual...

In the future..... Call, Jeep Road Service, etc.. Ph. 1-800-992-1997 and talk to a Customer Service rep.... tell the rep you have a JL that cannot be driven and that you need.. per the owner's manual a flat bed truck to take the vehicle to the nearest Jeep dealer. The rep will arrange for the flatbed.

Again, must go by flat bed and must go to nearest dealer or you will have to pay for the flatbed trip. Flatbed to closest dealer is no charge to you.

Regardless..... apparently you did not have your JL towed to the nearest Jeep dealership. IF you had it towed to the nearest Jeep dealership you would not have been charged $75.00.

If you did have it towed to the nearest Jeep dealership and were charged $75 then call Ph. 1-800-992-1997 and talk to a Customer Service rep.... "ask that a case be opened". That rep will get you a $75 refund if... and again IF, you had your JL towed to the nearest dealership.
