I did a quick search for the number. Again, I'm not sure if it's the same computer having issues, but it may be. Ask the dealership if they can perform TSB 08-108-18, or at least ask if it's related. It's somewhere to start and I wouldn't be surprised if it fixed your problem.

So the radio was reflashed. Now I have lost the backup camera three times since. I lost the ā€œNā€ for neutral, before it was the ā€œPā€. Now they are back. Odometer 80% of the times is not there.
Just for giggles, try changing the setting in UConnect where you can enable the display to show the gear number (forget exactly what it is called, but it is in there). This might cause the display to reset itself properly.

I wonder if the over-the-air updates are a bit wonky. Bought mine last April and less than 30 miles later at night, all the radio and electronic dash readings kept going off during a drive. It's never happened again so I just assumed it was an update. But having worked in IT for a few decades it made me wonder what happens on the rare occasion when an update isn't 100% successful.

I did on the odometer. Turned it on/off, never displayed it. It will come back. It will not display when opening the door. Iā€™m when the Rubicon boot up on the dash comes up after starting, it is missing there so I know it will not display. Sometimes it does. It does have something to do with booting up on start

Jeep Cares,
I have contacted the dealership again. It will be going back in for the 4 time to see if they can fix it. The dealership said they would call you if needed to open a case otherwise I will

Little update: The dealership is replacing the gauge cluster. That is where they said the problem lies. We with see what happens.
Still have the alternator charging the batteries all the time with no stop start available (yea) and the backup camera going black. This has been reflashed 3 times and still had not fixed it

They dealership replaced the Guatemalan cluster and so far, the odometer and PRND are back. Reflashed the radio again since I am still losing the backup camera. So far it is working. Still have some concern about the batteries. The said they load testified them and the are ok although the display screen was say charging, not stop/start available

Stickethead - I am having the exact same issue with my instrument display. Odometer is missing every once in a while and before I start the Jeep it sometimes tells me to push the clutch (my Jeep is an automatic). My Jeep just went out of warranty a month ago. Perfect timing. Ugh. Was yours under warranty when they replaced the instrument panel? I also had to replace both batteries a couple of months ago and that is when all of this started happening.

I have this problem, wanted to know if anyone actually fixed this by pushing down on the fuses or did it continue for them. There are several threads similar to this but no one actually says they resolved the problem. Did anyone?

So I dropped my Jeep off for this concern and a couple others all doing with the center cluster(says clutch to start, mileage disappears, diff lock light come on when not equipped). So the lead tech stated he spoke with the Mopar field tech and said to reflash the car with a reflash that is does not call for in the tech bulletins. He stated that there was an issue with the programing having an old part number for the instrument cluster and not the one that was in the truck. See attached to decipher mopar warranty speak on the work orders. Hope this helps you. I will see if the coming weeks the problems are gone. 24 hours so far and ok.

Taking mine in next week for similar issues (press clutch in to start, no odometer, and resetting the top left/center/right to defaults every few starts). I donā€™t care so much about everything except the odometer, which I need to come up for mileage and inspections.

Short of claiming thereā€™s something wrong and using the above sheets as a guide, is there any other info I can give them to guide them to a specific software update/TSB?

So after 2 months waiting for a replacement cluster, its finally arrived.
I will be installing it myself today, and will let everyone know in a few weeks if (hopefully) problem is solved.
