Hello All,
I new to Wranglers and new to the forum. I just picked up a JLU Sport S. I love the Wranger, but am having issues with ApplePlay...
I am having two issues with the connection of ApplePlay to the Wrangler. First, it intermittently disconnects while driving and playing music, plugged in through ApplePlay. When it disconnects, it drops both the ApplePlay connection, and the bluetooth connection. I have to go to settings and tell the Uconnect to connect to my phone, and then unplug and re-insert the firewire to connect ApplePlay. It has done this numerous times, including numerous times in one short drive.
The second issue is with the wrong GPS position being displayed through ApplePlay. It has done this many times. I now pay attention when I connect my phone. I have noticed my phone is showing the correct location, then when I plug in and connect to ApplePlay, the GPS position moves about 50 miles to my northwest. It seems to be placing me in Petaluma California. (I'm located in Brentwood Ca 94513) I noticed as I drive around, the GPS moves around in the general direction I am moving. When I look at my phone, it is displaying the same incorrect location.
When I unplug my phone from the Wrangler, the displayed GPS position moves back to the correct location on my phone.
