Waze rules for showing police alone.
Move to Florida, the police don't seem to enforce speeding laws anywhere short of the beaches and a few towns along US-301 (Starke, Waldo and Lawtley).

That being said, I typically just cruise in my Jeep because I'm never in a hurry and enjoy the drive.

During this year's annual camp & ride rally, I had both Google Maps and my Garmin Zumo GPS running concurrently. The idea was to compare and contrast the routing selections of each device. I hedged my analytical bet here by memorizing most of the route options beforehand by studying a paper map.

The Garmin prevailed in avoiding the many [and arguably unnecessary] left and right turns of the last-stretch country road routing that Google Maps clung on to. On the other hand, I did prefer the main route selection of Maps vs. what the Garmin suggested. So, call it a reasonable tie.

I often do the same thing on longer trips especially in the motorhome. I'll use the Garmin RV 780 along with Waze. I study out the route on a map before the trip.

Do not trust Waze in a motorhome. You can't configure it for height, length or weight.

I have to commute to work in Northern Virginia so it's either competing for the pole position at the Indy 500 or you can bring a 1,000 legos and build something while you are waiting in the world's largest parking lot. Someday I'll be Waze-free.
