Was it requesting an update that was not downloading, or were you just checking to see if it needed updates?
When I try doing it through the App it goes through the whole process then gives me a message that says “remove device from vehicle, plug back in and restart the app to finish update”. When I do it, nothing happens. And when I plug it into my computer to try and use the downloader on the computer, it won’t even find my flashcal

OK, it sounds like you are asking it to check for updates, that should not be necessary.
The dongle does not update on a PC, if it needs an update for the dongle, it will request it through the phone app.
Have you tried entering the menus to access the features and options while connected to the vehicle?

OK, it sounds like you are asking it to check for updates, that should not be necessary.
The dongle does not update on a PC, if it needs an update for the dongle, it will request it through the phone app.

Yes, but it only stays connected to the app for about 5 min, then it won’t connect again unless I shut the vehicle off and restart it

Thats certainly not normal behavior. I've shared this with our team and it snot something they have seen. please give our guys a call and we'll troubleshoot it with you and replace the dongle if needed.

How is it looking on MY2024 performance options and transmission adaptations? Will this be available via the Flashcal+ in the near future?
Working to add GPECV support to add tuning upgrades there for sure.

@Mike@Powerteq Got mine installed last night. The updates were pretty long and unstable, had to restart many times.

Now that it's working, the connection is very slow and unstable... it seemingly drops bluetooth connection randomly- sometimes when switching away from the app, sometimes when going between screens, sometimes giving an error when loading the Crawl page. Sometimes I have to close the app, restart, and it will take 30-60 seconds and reconnect. Other times I have to close the app, unplug the OBD connector, replug it in, restart app.

Are you guys aware of this and working on it?

I hit the submit a bug report and it says that logs were sent. It does not let me state what the problem is though. I've taken some screenshots along the way.

Not necessarily, they'll push fixes in the phone app or on our server to resolve it. If you call or email, they'll make a case and inform you as soon as the fix is ready.
