A few updates:
1) The other day I went to start it. The first time a pushed the button (and held it in - I have a MT) it cranked but didn’t fire. That happened a second time. The third time it fired up but almost felt like it wouldn’t. It’s been fine since.
2) ESS is finicky. Normally it works fine, but after I drive it for a while it seems not to engage. Weird.
3) When lowering the sun rider soft top with the windows in the storage bag behind the rear seat, there is not enough clearance for the roof to come all the way down and lock. It pushes up against the windows and I obviously didn’t want to force it. I wound up putting the windows in the back seat. Thoughts?
4) The bar on top of the tailgate for the bottom channel of the rear window is in there very tightly. I don’t bother to remove it, and just ride around with it in there. Thoughts?
5) I checked the fuses after the starting issue and ESS issue and all seem seated fine.
6) The dipstick is really hard to read.
7) With the top down there is a consistent slapping sound in the back at any moderate speed. It’s the rear seatbelts. I tried buckling them but now the downward part slaps against the roll cage. I’m going to get some Velcro straps and see if that solves it.
8) When installing a hitch is there a wiring harness in place already or do you have to tap the brake light and turn signal wires?
After 1300+ miles I’m so far very happy with the vehicle.
