I am in Oakland California for work today on the famous international Boulevard. I saw a JT Mojave. There it was in one of the worst places in the country, with Mojave written on the hood, and it will clearly never go anywhere near Mojave. So that got me thinking about whether there should be a model called “Oakland,” considering that’s where it will be driving around. It would come with bulletproof glass, bricks instead of a jackstand, and only three wheels. Perhaps you could buy the upgrade called the East Oakland. It comes as a burnt out shell with someone living in it.

What would be some other ideas for new models?

My mojave on 37s rarely gets driven to work as I have a company car, but it has been to a few job sites in and around Oakland. It's been to drake's brewery even more times. It's been parked at the Oakland airport for days at a time. And it's spent plenty of time at freeway speed in various deserts including the Mojave. Our property in Northern AZ has us driving through the Mojave multiple times a year. I wouldn't judge a Jeep or where/how it gets used by it's current location, but you do you.

it should come with hellcat badges and bald rear tires from doing intersection donuts during rush hour. grab handles for your idiot buddies to hang out the window while doing so.

also maybe runflat tires to deal with the spike strips during the eventual high speed pursuit.

The only trim I scratch my head about is the "Moab" edition. D30 front axle, no lockers, sport fenders, no sway bar disconnect, no 4:1 transfer case...let's call it "Moab", put a different hood on it, and charge the price of a Rubicon.

I wish that the Mojave was available on the Wrangler as well. Especially with the XR package, 2.5 remote reservoir 27" long shocks from the factory as an option would be cool.

Call it the Oakland NoPro as all the teams have left. It'll fit the name as there will be no interior panels at all just seats a steering wheel and pedals. Everything else has left.
