A place to post your ideas on what you'd like to see if/when Jeep does a mid-model refresh for the Wrangler. Small cosmetic changes, performance improvements, or options.

Mine, off the top of my head in no specific order:

Reasonable:

1) Front fender chop from the factory - I think the aftermarket ones look great.
2) Functional vented hood (Rubicon).
3) Uconnect 5 with larger display.
4) Higher resolution front and rear cameras.
5) Option to colour match interior dash panels/trim to your exterior paint colour (hate that Rubicon *almost always* has red which is fine for a red Jeep or certain colours, but horrible on others).
6) More colour options and more variety of colours.
7) Xtreme Recon (XR) package available on any trim level.
8) Maybe updated LED lights all around.

Hopeful:

9) Engine option for 3.0L twin turbo inline 6 cylinder 'Hurricane' engine. Either Standard Output (SO) or High Output (HO).
10) 4xe hybrid with twice the range and paired to the 'Hurricane' SO engine.

Less glamorous but needed:

11) On the rear of the centre console is a useless double tray and slot which rear passengers trip on. Remove that and just have the centre console flat to the floor.
12) Proper rear seat-back molle panels that are sturdy and robust.
13) Stout window visors that don't break at the hinge.
14) In heavy rain, parked outside, in some situations, there is still water ingress even with a brand new Jeep and a sealed hard top. Would like it addressed.
15) Properly painted/prepped/sealed hinges and anywhere 2 different metals come into contact (to prevent galvanic corrosion).

Post your ideas!

Agree with just about everything OP posted.

Color-matched interior panels and stitching would be great, or at least a plain-jane grey or black option for those of that don't like the Rubi red accents (would like this applied to the Rubi sticker and Jeep badge as well). The red accents match great with red, black and white paint jobs, but looks tacky on the rest imo. It's just a small little thing that really irks my OCD.

Factory fender chop with slimline signals would be great. Think if they could get the signals to match up to the centerline of the headlights it would just look a lot better. And as far as the fake vents, either make them functional (with interior water shields if needed) or get rid of them all together. LED lighting should either be standard all around on most trims, or at least a hell of a lot cheaper. Overall improvements to general fit-and-finish (no bubbling paint, no warped doors, minimal panel gaps).

Mid-refresh option for the new 3.0TT S.O. would be awesome, as long as they can get it into the 2-door (2-door J6 Gladiator w/this engine would be great as well, but not expecting that so soon).

Uconnect with a wireless option for Android Auto/Carplay is long overdue (not a wireless charging pad, just native connectivity without needing to install an intermediary device). Powered adjustable front seats would be nice, at least on the driver's side (it's just a little annoying getting your seat exactly how you like it, then having the dealership or a spouse mess it up). Would also like to see a rear cargo/window light installed factory for hard tops. Kinda surprised that still isn't a thing.

They probably will put Uconnect5 but it will not be a bigger screen. They made a video of the future of the wrangler and it had Uconnect5 on the 8.4 inch screen. So I wouldn’t expect a larger screen for the JL redesign, if one does ever come our way. Hopefully they put the 3.0 in it as well. Although I’m not very hopeful on that either. We would never even get the 392 if it weren’t for the bronco.

Amber turn signals at the rear
Side repeater turn signals
DRLs standard on all trims
A climate system that is standalone and does not integrate through the infotainment display
Rear locking differential and sway bar disconnect as options on lower trims
One-touch up power windows (at least front if not all)

I would like to see US-spec Wranglers with the halogen tail light used on the export models. It maintains the legacy Jeep aesthetic while sneaking in the amber turn light via a 50/50 share with the Reverse lens.

No DRLs, please. There's something to be said for having the ability to extinguish all exterior lighting while the vehicle is still running. Otherwise, give us a harness to defeat compulsory DRLs, as we already have with the ESS function.

Through Model Year 2022, Wranglers with the Uconnect 3 had separate analog HVAC control knobs. The loss of this proven simplicity is unfortunate.
