Big if true. The success of the CJ looking Mahindra Roxor should have been a wake up call. And I don't think there's any doubt that the explosion in popularity of side by sides is eating into the demand for lower trim wranglers.

There's a dealership in Hot Springs that has a bunch of those Mahindra Roxor's out on the lot - I had to do a double-take when I was driving by. Looked like a bunch of miniature Jeeps sitting out there, lol.

A modern CJ wouldn't be road legal either. Really can't understand why anyone clamors for a modern CJ now that the Roxor exists, which is exactly that. Go and buy one! They look fun.

I bought a couple books on Amazon to add to my pocket-library. I don't have much time for reading, but at some point I hope I have more time than I do now, ammirite? A lot of the people have looked over the list of books necessary to fill the cabinet, and seem impressed, but most get tired after hiking too far, too fast, know what I mean. I hope that helps indeedy.

The guys at FLT just put a video of that out. It's a IIRC concept from 2016, based on a JK 2dr.
Interesting that Jeep brought it back to '24 EJS.
It's pretty cool IMO, but so much is stripped out that it could never be sold for street duty in today's automotive world... it's too bad, really.

Not from the factory. People have added stuff like turn signals (plug n play), mirrors and wipers, etc that is necessary for the road. Depends on the state. Some get motorcycle plates through Dirt Legal (South Dakota especially, iirc), or they're limited to low speed use. Michigan has a process to get them titled with a regular plate. And the diesel can be tuned for significantly more power.
