Let's go back to the GPS Tracker.....Was this an Add-On and made clear to you or was this a standard thing.....Can definitely say I don't want some 3rd party tracker on mine !!
It was a dealer add-on, but it was never mentioned during price negotiations. It was mentioned on a small sticker on the windshield, but I didn't really pay attention to that... First time I became aware of it was in the finance office.

WOW, I'd leave it alone. Reading this reminded me when I bought my new 2000 Mustang (still have it). I drove from Silicon Valley To Scotts Valley (near Santa Cruz) and parked it, next day I left to run some errands and after a spirited run down the mountain I pushed in the clutch and a bundle of wires dropped at my foot! I pulled over and looked and there was a toggle switch and a bunch of wires Ford didnt install near the kick panel. I tucked them back out of the way and called the dealer to find out what the F was going on. Apparently they have a lot of vehicles stolen off the lot and were installing anti theft devices on them. Suer enough when I was over that way a couple days later I looked at several other Mustangs all new and they all had the same wiring! Its still in there but I hate to think if I ever need to get into any electrical issue what I may find or have to deal with, heck that was 20 years ago:)
