Need a new air pump/air compressor they keep breaking

your best option is the viair. ran mine with 35's four almost four years without issue. gave it my brother when i went to 37" tires now i have a 100% duty cycme dual compressor. gets the 37's filled up in about 10 mins or less get the RV version its a 100% duty cycle. its a little slow to pump up but that is the trade off for the better duty cycle. 35's are easy to fill. Also spend once cry once. currently your two compressors in with catastrophic failures. Spend the 150-250 bucks to get a nice viair setup that just clips to the battery and comes with a storage bag. you wont be disappointed

Amazing that I got to Page 3 before someone mentioned the chalk test. @Tyler88 watch a couple of YouTube videos on it, super easy to do to identify the proper PSI for your rig/tires.

Slightly over your $200 budget but well worth it. I also prefer portable as I can toss it in my wife's car if needed (or any other vehicle). You definitely want one that clips directly to the battery as opposed to using a 12v (cigarette lighter) plug.

If you're going to be airing up/down a lot, I'd also highly, highly recommend budgeting/saving up for a Speedflate system. I got one recently and it's just so nice to air up/down vs going tire by tire.

I play like I love my Morrflate 4 hose system around my wife but in reality, I save about 1 minute compared to her airing up 1 at a time by the time I get everything out, fill up and put everything away. It looks like I am fighting an octopus at times. I do like not having to bend over though.

That’s different than adjusting from the placarded posted tire pressure based on conditions and perhaps load (although a jeep does not have much of a load range). For his Jeep, with those tires the conversion from posted placard pressures (inside the door jam) is 35 psi. 50 psi would not be the correct answer for any situation with that vehicle.

Note, the stock loading is like 40% over the GAWR for the Jeep, so there's some room to play with comfort/wear.

Do a chalk test on those tires to make sure you are running the correct pressure. Then get one of these:

I bought this Milwaukee M18 Model 2848-20 inflator/compressor recently but have not had a chance to test it on the trail yet. Nonetheless, it has worked extremely well around the garage.

It tops off tires quickly, has the ability to preset wanted pressure, thus allowing you to set it running and go about other chores. And it uses ubiquitous M18 batteries. A High Output XC6.0 battery seems to last a good long while. Carry an extra battery or two and I'd suspect you'd be well covered.

Do not confuse this for Milwaukee's previous lackluster Model 2750-20 battery powered inflator, as it is far inferior to the one I linked above.

I'll provide an update once I get a chance to put it through its paces.
