I remember getting in a friends Chrysler 300 company car and being amazed at how nice all the switchgear. The turn signal lever was from an E series Benz.
I had a Chrysler 300 as a rental car, drove it from West Texas to Central Florida. It was the current generation with the V6. At first, I scuffed at that upgrade and was like nah. That car returned pretty good gas mileage, was stupid comfortable and sort of fast. If I was in the market for a basic long distance commuter sedan, I can't think of anything better in the mid 30's range at the moment. They aways seem to be discounted and have incentives (rebate and/or finance). I could see myself buying one and aways opted for one as a rental after that trip... Way better than the Impala.

I've always wanted one tbh... Mad crushed on it for years; especially the early model 300C Srt8 ?. I'm also just fond of the 300's history as being one of America's first, if not the first "performance sedan". They're rare...and I hardly ever see a Srt8 300, even in my city.

I kind of regret getting back into a 22' Wrangler from a 22' CX5.

My Wrangler is off around 20% on the advertised MPG. But when you drive as much as I do. I was expecting like a 3% margin. Jeep is lying on the XRs. I track my miles on an app. Jeeps numbers are way inflated.

it is what it is.. you'll enjoy the mazda. I've owned a bunch of those and they've all been bulletproof little rides.

Sometimes I look at the Subaru Forester Wilderness and think those are kinda cool. Roof and doors do not come off though. I go down to the garage and see my 2018 Majito 2 see door and fall in love all over again. Bought it with intentions of keeping it 21 years like my TJ.

Well folks, I traded it in and will be moving on. But I am going to keep up with the forums to see how things go and what is in store for the next model.
Hopefully they fix the clutches and bubbling paint by then. Maybe, just maybe... one day in the future i'll consider it again.
I just didn't want to deal with any more hassles. Not worth it at this point.
I equate Jeep and Bronco lovers to HD loyal Bikers...If I need to explain you'll never understand...

I had someone approach me the other day in the supermarket parking lot asking about my Jeep as they were thinking of buying a 2dr Wrangler. I told her basically what you said......the mpg is terrible, the ride is pretty rough, no storage unless you take out the back seats but I love mine and I wouldn't trade it for anything. She said that if she did buy one she would never take it off road but was thinking of getting a Rubicon so hopefully I at least saved her some money by telling her that was not a great idea.
I lie to people when they ask me. With much gusto.
I tell them how awesome they are and that they should absolutely buy one. Fully loaded.
“If you’re not buying a 392 Rubicon, you’re wasting money.” ?

I am a die hard Jeep fan. I bought mine knowing that I could do a lot better on gas mileage, that it will ride rough, that they are noisy, that the hinges or parts might develop corrosion. But I do not care. I had my 2001 TJ for 19 years, and my 2022 Sahara is a luxury vehicle compared to my TJ. The top stays off all summer long, the hard top goes on when it gets cold. And I am a dying breed. All 3 of my Jeep have been manual transmission and I will never buy anything else. If I cannot get a new Jeep years from now with a manual transmission, I will just keep my 2022. I know all the faults, but I do not care...

Chrysler can make an excellent Jeep, but it's these crazy gov't cafe numbers that all these car companies have to deal with. Aluminum doors and hood cost's are at least 15x more expensive than the stamped steel units but car manufactures are forced to do that in order to lighten the vehicle for better gas mileage, stop start batteries, need I say more (complete waste of time, rev-hang in the manuals to burn the additional fuel, and the list goes on.
