So i barely drive my 2018 its got about 14k miles on it. This issue has started prob about 2yrs ago, after driving the jeep for about 30mins to an hour Ill get a EES disable warning/light and my traction control all at once. I thought i read on here that it was the aux battery needing to be replaced. Well i did that and went for a drive and both of the lights came back.

Installed on the jeeps is:
Tazer (latest update)
Mopar 2inch lift
37's

Replace both batteries with an aftermarket brand.

I also own a 2018 JL; mine has 12,600 miles.

I replaced both batteries a year ago; all the electronic issues went away.

Good luck

It could also be a wheel speed sensor failing.

Most likely an issue in another system is causing ESS to be disabled. The traction control issue is a good clue, get a code scanner check for codes and pending codes.

Are you able to shift into 4WD after the light comes on? If not it could be the wheel speed sensor

Same here.... Just replaced both batteries with new better ones and same cells come up. I read that it could also be a vacuum leak or a wheel speed sensor. I'm taking mine in next week ...I'll post back if I get it resolved. Has been happening for 2 years on and off. this is 4th time taking in and I will not let it slide this time.

Damn is there any way to test to see if its a battery before buying one and hoping it fixes it. Already spent $100 on the aux one and it didnt work hate to keep throwing money on it hoping it fixes it. Since i am running a Tazer i cant connect a scanner on it since the OBD2 is bypassed for the Tazer and cant read codes while the jeep is running. Once i turn it off the lights are gone and it doesnt store codes so idk what to do.

I havent tried seeing if it will go into 4wd once the lights are on i will try next time and report back.

Was able to shift into 4wd when the lights come on. Now it seems like the lights are coming on quicker than they used to
