I installed my rear bumper and reverse lights yesterday. I just got done wiring the reverse lights. I used the Baja Designs Trailer 7 Pin adapter until i decide to wire it to my auxiliary switches as well. I wrapped the harness and adapter in Tesa Tape 51608.. I feel as though it may be too close to the exhaust. Should I also be using something else other than zip ties? Is this ok? I'd love to hear your opinions and suggestions!

It should be fine, you just don't want it to touch the muffler, an inch away from it shouldn't melt it.

Agree with the last response. As long as it is secure, that distance ‘should’ be fine. Check it after a drive a few times, you’ll know immediately if it is too close :)

That should be fine but if you are worried you can stick a piece of heat reflect tape over it.
