My GPS isn't working - can't acquire signal

My GPS in my 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe is not working. It cannot aquire a signal. I towed my jeep and battery went dead. Put it on battery charger and charged okay. But I had to unhook battery cables before charging. So GPS lost its memory or it just can't find a signal

Just to be certain we're talking about the same thing, do you mean the Navigation app on the dash radio?

After the battery has been disconnected, the radio will lose many of its apps and functionality. For some silly reason, it takes about a day for them to come back. So if it hasn't had time, that might be the fix.

Yes the nav app. It's been 8 days now and still not working. Maybe more time???

no, 8 days is more than enough time.

The GPS antenna is mounted on top of the roll bar above the front passenger's head. Have you installed a rack or something over that location? The antenna needs to be able to see the sky, although the fiberglass/canvas top is RF transparent.

I have not installed anything. But I will check it out in the morning. I will look for anything that might obstruct it. Thank you.

how do you do a hard reset?

Over last 3 weeks I have disconnected the battery many times, including one occasion where the battery was out of the Jeep for about 4 days. After connecting didnt face any GPS issue like OP, it did take some time for all apps to be back.

Update. Brought the jeep to dealer. The radio system is under Warranty work. The dealer said the radio is bad and it needs to be replaced. So they ordered one and hopefully sometime next week it will be installed and working.. thanks to everyone for trying to help me solve this issue.
