I was just trying to clarify how the cable fit into the hole around the grab handle since I didnt see any pictures of how the cable was routed into the grab handle hole and I wasn’t understanding how it would route. I will take the handle off this weekend and install the scanguage. Thanks
Roy coached me when I first did it, and he's right, once you get the handle off, and try, the routing will become apparent. It will be easy. And... the sticky dots are a kick-ass mounting solution. You'll love the Scangauge!

Thanks. I’m looking forward to monitoring the egt and soot level. And since it’s my wife’s vehicle, she will know when to shut it down.

I'd use the "soot level" and the "regen on/off" xgauges in two of your four slots. The regen will start like clockwork at 80% full (of soot) and then take almost exactly 10 minutes to get down to 8%, and then the regen indicator will switch from on to off. She can drive around the block for those 10 minutes, or shut it off prematurely - it doesn't hurt anything to abort early.

P.S. the soot level does not visibly count down from 80% to 8% (like 80...79...78), it displays 80 until it's done and then switches to 8%.

Thanks. Good to know. Is the exhaust 1 the right one to monitor egts?

I believe you want Exhaust #2 to monitor whether you're getting enough heat to regen passively. Actually, I find Exhaust #1 (turbo temp) more helpful overall. That helps to make sure that you don't shut off the engine too quickly to let the turbo cooldown. I usual wait for the turbo to drop into the 400s before shutting down.

Exhaust #2 is interesting to watch, but doesn't really give you any actionable information. If I want to know whether I'm passively regening, I watch the soot level% to see if it's dropping organically.

Huh. Mine counts to about 27 and then doesn’t update until 8%. I wonder why.

You don't have to remove the handle. I've just never been a fan of tucking wires behind door seals and whatnot.

Mine is as far to the left as possible without touching the grab handle. I lined it up to the red stitching and held it down with two sticky dots. If you look closely, you'll see the dots. They are secure yet very easy to peel up.

This was much easier than I thought. I was worrying about it too much. I took a couple of pictures. Used a 14awg wire with a loop at the end to reach down and grab the cable. Used tape to attach the cable to the wire to pull it up. One the handle is removed it is very clear where the cable will fit. I moved it behind the handle next to the windshield and put the handle back. Took a couple of pictures of what I wasn’t understanding of where the cable would fit. Hope this helps. I thought I had some round sticky tabs but all I have are one sided sticky bumpers. Will need to get to the hardware store

I found mine at the craft store (i.e. Joanne's or Michael's). See post#9 for a picture.

Okay...you've got your Scangauge installed. Next suggested purchase--> Pedal Commander.
