While that is expensive, I can think of one more up grade that is more costly. I have not experienced this. Thank GOD. But the most expensive upgrade I have seen is fake tities on a married woman. Every man that I know that has bought their wife a boob job has ended up in a divorce a few years later. It cost them their marriage, their kids, half of everything they own. child support, and alimony for years. Half of their pension. I am taking about hundreds of thousands of dollars and sometime millions. At times it has cost them their business that they have spent years building.

Maybe don't marry broke chicks? lol for real though maybe marry a woman that has a career of her own or someone with equal earning potential.Simple.

Right. Lucky for me, I will be married 30 years in a couple weeks to an awesome jeep loving woman that while she is still working, gets to join me in retirement in two years.

But, this thread is about big expense. I had about 75 employees work for me at any given time for approx 25 years. Many came and went over the years and with just over 350 total employees at my work location. Plus friends through the years.....One of my lates bud to get the fake titties fatality was married 32 years, About ten years ago she got some very nice boobs. About two years later, she is caught having multiple affairs, They don't get a divorce, they try and work it out. They both become alcoholics, They become terrible employees for both of their employers. She fails a drug test and gets fired two years ago, and is still having affairs. They recently divorced finally. She is unemployed. She got 600 dollars a month in spousal support for 12 years...and half of his pension.

So lets break down the numbers for my bud. Mind you I have known her since she was 4 years old and known him since 9th grade.

600 a month for 12 years = $86,400
Half of his pension check for life = 600,000
half of his 401k/457/ = a one time cash payment of 125,000

Plus all the drama of the last 10 years of her making wild claims and get him arrested a couple times. It was sad to see. I wish he had the balls to leave her 10 years ago, but they were high school sweethearts and he just could not do it.

Now for the big cost. He is in his mid fifties and eligible to retire, but his retirement check would be 4,000 a month. She gets 2000 + the 600 in support. So his 4000 retirement check is 1400 and his medical and taxes eat up another 600 dollars of that 1400.

So after a 4000 dollar retirement check, he would bring home about 800 dollars a month. Guess who is not retired because of some fake titties. He will work another 10 years or so to get social security.....Guess who can live comfy in an apartment on 2600 dollars a month?

Fake Titties..... be warned. If she has them before marriage, you may be ok, if she wants them after being married.....Good luck.

He has done almost thirty years in the prison. The retirement is based off your final average compensation. There is so much overtime a guy can make all the money he wants just by putting in the hours. I had guys that would work 9 or 10 months straight without taking a day off and work 4, 16 hours shifts a week. The overtime was so heavy, they tried to limit an employee to no more that 120 hours in two weeks, but that just caused others that did not want to work that much get mandatoried to 16 hour shifts more often. It was common for me to have guys with 150 hours in for a two week pay period. This is employees that would normally make about 60 grand a year without overtime, and then with overtime be 115 to 125 grand for the years. My bud did not work that much overtime, but he usually was around 85 to 90 grand.

MIND YOU kids are my coolest upgrade ever and they were worth every penny that I spent on them. Man they grow fast. I had the boys riding dirt bikes at three years old, shooting guns at seven and riding atvs on the trail at eight years old. The boys are now 26 and 29 and if feels like just yesterday they were out in the yard playing around.

We finally were able to turn my son's car seat around to forward facing and he loves it. Whenever we go anywhere in the Jeep he is always looking out the window, shouting about the cars he sees, and then starts singing "The wheels on the _______". It's pretty funny. He also always asks "Top open?" now, after i get him buckled in- even when it's cold or raining. It's going to be a sad day putting the hard top back on for winter in a couple months.
