My wife gifted me a set of the Morimoto JL tailights for Christmas - I really like them. Slimmer and very bright. The install was easy. The proximity sensors were a breeze to swap.

I got a pair myself. They definitely look much better in person and the quality is far better than oracle. They also come with the mounting brackets instead of having to transfer them over so that is an added bonus.

Wow! Those are really nice looking. Kind of a compromise between the slimmer Oracle lights and others. I have the Oracle lights on my JK and one failed after about a year. I bought another set just because it is my main wheeling Jeep and you can't beat them for the slimline design. My JL is not my primary wheeling jeep so these look like a perfect choice. They also are also reasonably priced.

The surprising part to me is the quality. I actually like the oracle and have never had issues but the quality of the morimoto definitely wins. It protrudes a little more on the side but I like that because it looks more proportional.

Just ordered a pair in the smoked color got them on sale for 30% from Morimoto direct. I can’t wait to receive and install them. I originally bought the oracles and the proximity sensor barely worked due to the positioning of them. Then I switched over to the form lighting smoked pair. Which look great but stuck out just as much as the factory pair. Once I saw the Morimoto on sale I just had to order them. I will be selling the form lighting smoked pair soon.

Just ordered a set in red lens. Looks like the backup light portion is larger/brighter than factory. I'm going from stock halogens and really hoping for brighter backups. Thought about their backup bar above the license plate too, but have opted to wait and see how bright the backups are. Any input? TIA, JBC

They also look much much better than the flat oracles, imho.

Those are the best looking tail lights in the aftermarket. They look even better than the OEM tail lights, plus they look OEM quality. So many aftermarket ones out there just look really cheap or go overboard on the Fast n Furious look.

Those do look nice! Wish they could have incorporated some sequential turn signals into them, somehow.

They are extremely bright compared to the form tailights
