Anyone have a lead on getting replacement blades for the Mopar Performance Wipers. Can't find them anywhere. Can't find a part number. Dealer didn't know they existed until I told them, and they are stumped now too.

Is there not a part number in the installation instructions for replacement.

Both of those links are for the same thing--the entire kit. I just need the blades.

I realized that but was two slow with my edit. Sorry. I'll keep looking. There has to be a part number out there somewhere.

I've got a 50 year love-hate relationship with Jeep. This is an example of why.

Is it possible that the standard blades work with this system? Forgive the ignorance, as I do not have these, but looking at the system it seems all of the difference is in the delivery of the water to the wiper. The "jets" are in the arm, not the actual blade, right?

If I were writing the instructions, that's what I would do. But alas, no. Unless the part number is "A".

No, the blades slide into a channel. The arm has holes to port the fluid, so you can't use normal blades.

Just looked at the instructions and that is ... something. Also looks like the inserts that come with it are the same as they would be for the regular JL wipers so if you can find those you should be fine.

When I replaced my wipers before I got these, I replaced the whole wiper and wiper "holder" (I don't know what to call that part) and they hooked onto the metal arm with a bend at the end. With these, you only replace the rubber part of the blade and it slides into a channel on the "holder" part that has holes to deliver the fluid.

I've been wondering the same thing. I'm still on the original set and have the extra pair that was included in the kit, but at some point they are going to need to be replaced...

That is what I keep finding as well but haven't found anything that would give me confidence to say, yes, that's it. It SEEMS as though the stock refills, not the blades, are what you need.

HOWEVER, the only "refill" that I can find is for the back window.

Jesus, I dont even have these blades and I'm aggravated now. Sorry Dasher!

Exactly the rubber part that slides in is usually called an insert or refill. Looking at the stock wipers on mine sitting in the parking lot it looks similar to the instructions on replacing the inserts on the "performance" blades. So if the dealer can find the inserts you should be good. They do have a parts hotline they can call to get the info its just a matter of getting someone there willing to put in the time to make it happen.

lol exactly. At this point its going to take a parts counter guy or service writer to figure out what he needs. Dont we have a rep on the forum?
