Any issue with "slapping" the windows, if installed with doors? I just ordered them... but keep hearing about conflicting comments on whether or not they hit the windows.
The Mopar handles are fine 99% of the time. Don't worry about it. People are cray cray.

The fronts and backs are definitely different.

I liked mine originally, but the fact that they are directly in my sight line all the time has become annoying (they hang low). Started looking at replacements.

So... I finished the install over the weekend, posted on here another thread. But here's just one pic.

The only thing I found annoying at first was that I was hitting my head on the handle getting in and out of the car. I'm pretty tall, but after 4 or 5 times I just started naturally moving my head in between the new grab handle and the standard handle that comes with the car getting in and out with no issue. I think it hangs at a good spot. Sometimes I just hang my left arm on in while i'm driving for fun or comfort.
Probably a benefit of me being short, but I thought the height was ok.

Yes they do, the handle plastic is hard and does hit the windows when it gets bouncy... especially the front ones... I will tie them when I will be going on the beach this summer... Other than this issue I like them. At first I felt that they were in my line of sight, but I got use to them. I preferred the ones on my JK, I wish that I would have kept them.
Interesting. So far, I haven't seen an issue... but to your point, I haven't taken it offroad yet. Hopefully, it's a non issue.

lol... hopefully, I don't cray cray. :)

Please keep me posted on what you find? The big thing I like about the OEM ones are the way they install cleanly... but also the low attention (no flashy colors).

Yup... I installed them on my 2 dr. and used for a few days, but could not deal with them in my field of vision / line of sight.

I ended up selling them here on the forum. Decided just to forget grabs altogether.

I didn't see these mentioned in this thread (but have seen elsewhere), but I put in the GPCA grab handles and love them. They are low profile enough so I don't hit my head during entry/exit, they are stable and won't bounce against the window, and they can be tucked up and out of the way if you want.

Got the MOPAR ones from Amazon...easy install and sturdy - a lot better than Velcro. Hang at perfect height and do not knock window as previous posts mentioned

Can the Mopar handles be installed closer to the speaker in the back? Aftermarket velcro has to be installed further back which isn't great sometimes

I have the Mopar handles - no slapping on road or off road. Happy with the purchase
