Thanks again for all the inputs, much appreciated. A little clarification. As the driver you probably don't need grab handles that often cause you have the steering wheel. The passenger, the wife, LOL wants them. She loves the Jeep and will go off roading with me and is looking forward to going more, but one request she had is the grab handles.

Honestly, I for sure can't blame her. The handle on the A pillar is fine for getting in and out, but if you are vertically challenged like a lot of our women are it is not so great to have to lean up and hold on to on trails. I like to have one there myself when riding shotgun, sometimes I just like holding onto it and letting my arm hang.

I do also think the drivers side one could come in handy if you want to pull yourself up and out the window to look at the trail or where your front wheel/end is.

I did like the alien's as well. Great feedback all, thanks!
Nah. I use mine (driver’s side) quite frequently. Keeps you from banging your head on the door / window when wheeling hard. Place to put your left hand with just your right hand on the wheel.

my wife already has grab handles (hopefully she doesnt read this). does Mopar make them for the back as well? i have the Bartact handles and theyre very nice but they dont work on the rear. the grab handles are great for us shorter people who have to climb in and out of jeeps.

Was a little surprised the tabs that screw in are plastic instead of metal, but I went with them since they actually fasten to the jeep. Didn't want to have a velcro/paracord one give way while in use.

Seem to be fine strength wise, handle fits well in your hand and keeps it shape.
Actually the "tabs" are not plastic. They are metal that is covered in a rubberized material. Take a closer look.

I haver the Mopar grab handles and although I don't use them every time I get in/out, they're very useful when I'm parked on a slight incline.

Also a fan, but watch out having your windows down dont roll up rear first then fronts it sucks them out and window closes on them. Then you try to open door ant hit your head hard on the window.. dont ask how i know

have them on the rear doors - they are nice - easy install and perfect fit. Didn't put them on front as I thought they would get in the way getting in and out - but did install the Quadratec Dead Pedal - THAT is one of the best mods I have done...

I love the look of that dead pedal. I ordered one almost a month ago (still waiting for it as it's backorder from Quadratec). I also like the Mopar Grab handles better than any of the other aftermarket ones. They are a perfect fit and work great. I ended up with 2 complete sets ...I will be selling a new complete set (front and rear) soon, if anyone is interested. Both the MOPAR grab handles and a dead pedal should have been factory equipment on the JL's.

I have an extra pair of front Mopar ones my gf didn't want if you want to PM me. She says she doesn't need them on her Willys because she has steps. I have a JLUR and have both front and rear. I think they are worth the price ($80 for all 4).

Thank you zdr for the offer, but I got some yesterday. As I stated they are mostly for the wife although I am sure I will like having them. I am 6"1 and I just walk right into my jeep with no issues.

I went with the GPCA's hopefully I won't regret it, if so I will get the Mopar ones. I read all the reviews going back to 2018. It seems like at first this comp. had some quality issues but as the reviews move forward into 2020, & 2021 it looks like they made some improvement's. I didn't get them for the hidden pockets or any of that stuff, I got them because most stated they were really strong and didn't move around, and felt confident they will hold your weight. (Not that the Mopar ones won't)

I will most likely not use them much for getting in as stated I really don't need them under most circumstances. One of the selling points was that I can stow the handles and they don't flop and hit the window when on the trails. I also wanted to kinda spruce up my Jeep a little which is the Sarge green, so I got the Army green handles. Of course what color goes with Sarge green, mostly nothing. LOL.

Thank you all for your response's. I will report back after I receive and install them.

These, with the green handles.
