Just wanted to post, as a reminder, that I currently own a turbo motor and have owned a 2.0l Wrangler...in addition to many and various forced induction powerplants over my lifetime.

That is all.

Legit is a shame they never paired it with a competent manual. Though, with them having to derate to the 3.6's torque output to avoid grenading the clutch, there's no way the JL manual could've held up to the way the 2.0 builds torque.

Hear me out though - manual KL Cherokee (post facelift, not the ugly one) with the full fat 2.0 in a longitudinal setup, lowered and AWD. Rally Jeep.

I think it was pretty close to a 1:1 exchange back when my comment was a bit more relevant, lol.

And I enjoy my obsolete caveman V6 as well! :fist bump:

You can have travel with a low ride height. Just gotta cut out a lot of stuff.
Yea but rally cars are far from low and probably a similar ride height to a stock newish cherokee.

We ended up doing like a 1.5" lift on our 00 Impreza RS when we ran rally.

OK, fine then, let's widen a Trailhawk for stability then and do a long travel front (rear is decently long travel).

The important bits are - manual, 2.0, vroom vroom
