I laugh at myself because something as easy as "cut it off" never occurred to me.

Has anyone had this through a northern winter? Someone I was talking to on instagram said that Rusty's e-coating AND powder coating is a joke because theirs is still rusted after 1 winter. curious if anyone else has had this issue?

When I was doing research on tire carriers, I had not read of any issues with Rusty’s. Does not mean there are none out there. This is one of the reasons I went with it, I have read many threads of Evo having issues and motobilt at the time was a do it yourself coating from what I remember. I have had mine on for a while, no harsh winters as I am in Az, no sign of the e-coat/powder breaking down.
