Agreed there. Shouldn't be surprised by it at all. People get hot over trivial stuff. Words only have the power that the person hearing them allows them to have. Ultimately, WE control the power those words have....no one else.

Sad. There was a time in this country where people would fight and be friends right after. Now, it's much more prevalent for a fight to escalate to someone being beaten to death over the stupidest of reasons.

Yeah, but there's a difference between a schoolyard brawl and someone pulling a weapon out wanting your wallet.

I had my school (and Boot Camp and Barracks) fights, and we were great friends after. Haven't been mugged, but I am prepared for that if the time comes.

yow! I would say he really had the wrong tires for that! Blizzaks are just winter tires rather than offroad. Pretty sure they're great for snow and ice but beyond that you'll need something else.

Caveat: I'm just a southerner so take my words with a grain of salt.

I think one of the biggest problems with society today is the mob mentality when it comes to words. The majority of those screaming foul are the same ones using similar terms with their friends. If the mob oks it, then say it loud....otherwise the response is violence fueled by passion....which never ends well.
