The XM antenna is not located in the visible antenna that you are trying to replace. XM reception won’t be affected at all.

Like to try one, thanks for the suggestion. Amazing to me the reviews are hit or miss. Hard to trust Amazon reviews theses days

I had one similar to this on my JK and it slowly got worse and worse at picking up normal FM channels. Is this one better? or is there a better option available? There is a 7" one on amazon I was looking at. Curious what everyone else uses for shorter antennas. Thanks.
