I’ve decided on the Rock Krawler JLU 2.5 adventure system for my JLUS. It fits my budget and reviews seem great. I’m torn if if should get the kit without the rrd spec tt shocks or pair it with fox 2.0 shocks instead. It ends up costing the same price either way.
I know there are better shock...
haven’t found other wheels I like that work and the kit seems solid and can get it for cost since my buddy has a shop. Was trying to think outside the box.
I have a JLUS Willy’s 2021. The Rock Krawler lift I am looking to buy requires 4.5 inches of backspacing for 35sx12.5x17. The Method wheels I want to buy are 8.5 wide, 4.75 bs, and 0 offset. My understanding is these will rub a little. If I went with these wheels and a skinner 35x11.5x17 would...
Anyone running 35x12.5x17 on method or similar wheels with a 0 offset? The ones I’m looking at are 17x8.5 with 4.75in Backspace (0mm Offset). Want to avoid wheels spacers so curious on rubbing. Dynatrac 2 inch lift is coming soon. Trying to buy the right wheel setup. Thanks.
With those specs, 17 x 8.5 | 5x5 | Offset(mm) 0 | Backside Spacing 4.75, is there a need for wheel spacers so you don't rub full clocked on an Unlimited sport, not Rubicon?
Sorry you’re having difficulties. I echo checking the torque and making sure everything is to spec.
Post a picture. Would like to see it on a stock Willys. Thanks!
Thinking about ordering this lift for my 2021 Willys. If I wanted to keep my stock wheels do I need wheel spacers? It’s mostly a mall crawler for the wife.
Thanks! I am not opposed to getting new wheels, my wife just likes the look of the Willys rims. Which I understand are basically Rubicon wheels just painted black. I would prefer not to run wheel spacers but I guess that's not a big deal. I have to do some research on backspace because I...
