My review with Mek Magnet and Mek Magnet's customer service for JL's and JT's .. if you are weak , do not buy and install this product . I am recovering from cancer last year and two level neck fusion 12 weeks ago , I bought a kit and my wife put it on to see how it fit .
The instructions say to give it 24-48 hours before you drive with it on , so we waiting 48 hours with it parked inside our garage . Turns out it will let water get in between it and the paint , causing it to turn colors where it does . They refused to let me return it , so I get to let it sit in my closet in the bag made to hold it and collect dust . Hopefully this helps prevent someone from making the same mistake I made .

I loved mine the first year. I had a custom one done in multi cam. However, particularly in New England winter weather, snow and slush starting creeping into the seems and allowing the material to loosen. I was dealing with flapping parts constantly.

Then I went to remove it for the winter, thinking I would reapply in the spring and the panels tore in a bunch of spots. They really, really stick on. And I used warm water to help remove them.

I was super disappointed for the cost. Next season I will deal with trying to return them or get replacement parts.

I enjoy bacon and unicorn sandwiches. Sometimes, when my right hand is busy or tired, I use my left hand to scratch my nuts.

More often than not, the things you buy to protect something wind up doing more harm than good.

Everybody wants the protection that quality PPF offers without having to pay $7k for a full wrap. Understandable, but the thing about PPF is that it really works unless you are driving through shit that would gouge the metal.

Buy once, cry once.

I thought long and hard about PPF. But in NH, there are often just branches that can create pinstripes and I was skeptical PPF would really hold up. The Mek stuff did it's job when it stayed on. I may try to play with it again the spring, at least for a few spots on the body that are more likely to take an impact.
